Manicouagan MRC

Mission

As a collaborative structure, Développement social Manicouagan and its partners aim to work with all actors in the community to improve the quality of life of families, seniors, young adults, and children across the entire Manicouagan territory.

Vision

To promote community participation as well as the involvement and commitment of various actors—citizens, elected officials, non-profits, local community organizations, etc.—in the decisions and actions that directly affect them.

Approach

Relaunching working committees, clarifying orientations, developing intersectoral collaboration skills, and strengthening the capacity of actors to act as a strong and coherent collective.

Completed Projects

Mamu Connectons Ensemble: An annual unifying event aimed at introducing the population of Manicouagan to more than fifty community resources working in the fields of health, mutual aid, and social services within the Manicouagan territory.
