Let’s Talk About Indigenous Realities with Kokom Germaine Dubé
Uashashkutuan is pleased to present the third episode of its ‘Let’s Talk About Indigenous Realities’ webinar, which will take place online on April 2, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Free.
We are grateful to the Indigenous guests who participate in this series and offer a space for sharing and dialogue to our community. Their contribution helps raise awareness of Indigenous realities through their personal and professional experiences.
For this upcoming episode, we will welcome a guest from the Mashteuiatsh community: a kokom (grandmother) with a deeply resilient journey. She will gently and wisely share her story, as well as her healing journey as a residential school survivor. She will also tell us about her love for her language and culture, which she proudly passes on to her grandchildren and her community.
The ‘Let’s Talk About Indigenous Realities’ webinar is produced and offered by Uashashkutuan, an Innu company that has been supporting organizations and offering awareness activities on Indigenous peoples since its very first activity in February 2022.
